Waste Disposal

Regular Trash Pickup:

• Trash collection occurs Wednesday and Saturday mornings

• Trash must only be put out the day before scheduled pickup

• Trash must only be placed in blue city of plantation trash bags

• White and Black trash bags will NOT be picked up

• Under no circumstances should you ever put out a white or black trash bag

Recycling:

• Recyclables are collected on Saturdays only

• Recyclables must be placed in Clear City of Plantation Recyclable Bags

• Please do not put out recyclables any earlier than Friday

Bulk Trash Collection:

• Bulk trash is usually picked up the 2nd wednesday of every month but there are exceptions. Please refer to this link for the schedule: https://www.plantation.org/home/showpublisheddocument/7287/638708096947770000

• Please follow all City of Plantation bulk trash guidelines

• Do not use black trash bags for any reason, bulk collection will not pick them up

• Do not place bulk trash items in areas where the truck can not reach

• It it preferable to place bulk trash out the day prior to pickup

• Under no circumstances should bulk trash ever be put out prior to the Saturday before collection
